Dr Bernstein's Diabetes University Video Playlist

Dr Bernstein has been recording all his wisdom in a Diabetes University video series. Searching for another question, noticed that a complete playlist has now been added to YouTube:

Check out all the diabetes topics covered.

The University was about 45 sessions, then they recorded dozens of answers to specific questions. Noticed now that all the recent Teleseminars recorded have been added too. This all courtesy of RD Dikeman from TyoeOneGrit group, so thank you to him for this great resource.

Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes University is up to 116 sessions now!
Whatever question you have, the answer is here :)

Today, DitchTheCarbs published a beginner's guide...How to Eat for Diabetes.

It starts with a nine minute video AZ guide that explains Dr Bernstein's book with sketches and key words. In addition, Libby has added an infographic and a great beginner article for Type 1 and 2.

This has everything, by TypeOneGrit, DitchTheCarbs and LowCarbRN:

A fascinating replay of last night's Low Carb Support group only available for 8 more hours. Toward the end, after success stories and new info on Heal Clinics, Dr Westman's talks about his meetings with Dr. Bernstein over the past 19 years. Dr. Bernstein at 82 still sees patients in his home in New York, but limits them to 20 and charges $600/hour. He assumes all his patients eliminate carbs (will fire you if not) and works to fine tune the other issues that can impact diabetes after carbs are limited to his 30 g plan (cortisol, sleep, etc). The recent discussion was how Heal Clinic can train more health care workers to heal diabetes to acceptable levels, but not manage everyone to exactly 83 BG. I'll post how you can watch it today on the Westman thread.

The Low Carb Support Group replay sounds interesting Janet. Where do I find it? Went to the links previously posted, but I'm having no luck.

You would ask Ms Techy that hard question.
Does this work? https://www.periscope.tv/ecwestman/1PlJQjNQaLnxE
Guess it does, but you still need to download an app to watch it? (I think)
You can scrub through to the parts you want with a press and hold move..somehow :q:

Thanks, that works. Must have lucked out, as I can watch it directly from my desktop.

The ever amazing Dr Bernstein, who just celebrated his 83rd birthday, takes to another new social media education platform!
Face Book Live.

Posting this one because it is such a common question. I've posted Dr Westman's exact same answer on his Adapt FB Live and have repeated it many times here, but Dr Bernstein answers it in two minutes.

"Why am I not losing weight or inches on a Ketogenic diet when I show ketones?"

Check out his other new FB Live videos here, including an 83rd Birthday testimonial on June 16th from the TypeOneGrit group. 36 minutes long but I was crying by the first five ;)

Bonnie mentioned on another thread how important it is to read Dr Bernstein's book, and it is.
In addition, this YouTube playlist has 119 topics so you can Zero in on just about any question on diabetes and hear the answer directly from a world expert.

Now that 83 year old is posting his heart out on Facebook Live, answering questions and reviewing new research. Amazing :agree:

RD Dikeman added a few mobile upload slides on various topics from Diabetes U., but the first is on protein.

Starts...."It's a big mistake to cut out protein.."

A new interview with RD Dikeman on Robb Wolf's podcast. Update on his T1 son, a great discussion on protein, (Dr Bernstein's Diet is Protein-Centric!) recommends the KetoGains macro calculator, etc. An all round good podcast with a reminder that this vast resource of diabetes information has been saved for posterity.
