My addition to the 'potluck'

Hi Sally and everyone!

I followed everyone's tremendous success in the last thread and am so very proud of each and every one.

Currently, I am in a major stall (a few months now). Since I am faithful to my WOL, my addition to the 'potluck' needs to be EXERCISE. That is MY major shortcoming and need to get motivated and going. The stall is bothersome but it hasn't deterred me in the least (wow, did I really say that!!!!!). This WOE has really changed my life. Now, for some physical help.....

So, if it is okay, I will focus on getting more structured movement in my routine and take it day by day.

Way to go group!!!!!!

Kathy :rheart:

count me in (with fingers crossed)

I'm not worried about Halloween or Thanksgiving (it's in Oct here), but I can't guarantee that I won't have a planned cheat on my birthday. I'll do my best.

skyspinner Sun, Sep-29-02 11:55

I dunno....haven't yet learned whether the Autumn thing actually helped me at all. I'll decide on Monday weigh-in. But at least I found the place!

Take care all....

Cheryl R Sun, Sep-29-02 12:02

I'm in, and like my last post in the Autum thread, along with pledging to myself to stick to the plan for the month of October, I am also going to pledge to myself to do 2 hours worth of exercise each week.

There has been too much drama in my usual lunch group, so I've decided I don't need that stress in the middle of the day, so since someone invited me to come ride the bikes in the gym at lunch time, I will be joining her and running down stairs before that to pick up my salad in the cafeteria...or I will take my lunch with me to work. I can eat it at my desk.. So I will be killing 2 birds with one stone, I will be getting away from the stress and getting exercise at the same time.

Here is to a happy healthy month of October!!!!!

And just think of the jump start we are getting on the new year!!!!

WAIT FOR ME, WAIT FOR ME.......

Okay so what if I was not just little Miss Perfect on our last challenge at least I was here and did try.
Count me in and I will post my weight results tomorrow in the No cheat till Autumn thread.
Thanks again Sally for all the great work. joan

ME TOO, ME TOO!

Hello Ladies!

What are the guidelines to join your no cheat challenge?? I like it and feel up to the challenge. Does that mean that I can't even have something like a Pure De Lite chocolate bar? I can live with that, I just gotta know.

A dear friend of mine just got diagnosed with Lupus, Tuberculosis and another thing called Aspergillis (forgive spelling) and she is on a juice fast to help boost her immune system becaue it's been attacking her organs. Anyway, she's so sick and about 100 pounds, and can't eat a thing for 2 weeks! Even when she's not on the juice fast she still gets ill on food. So I feel so lucky being able to eat LC legal, that is all a treat to her.

Slimmin, I also have a birthday this month, and Women's Retreat with our church (up in the mountains-its going to be cold and prime hot chocolate weather- OUCH!- Hey, anyone got a LC hot cocoa recipe?). So I'm crossing my fingers too. But this challenge sounds like fun!

Good luck to all!
Carianne

Carianne... they told me that no cheat is up to you. If you consider it a cheat then it is. For me no cheat is if I go over 50 grams of carb in a day, or close to it for all 7 days in a week. I try to stay below 50 each day, and below 30 on a couple days each week.
Good luck, I can tell you the No cheat until Autum helped me a lot.

Carianne Sun, Sep-29-02 21:24

GREAT!

Thanks for replying so quickly Cheryl!

I think my little choc bar is cheating, I think it stalls me. I have been trying to keep it around 30 carbs a day and I've been wanting to have something sweet too often and I think it's been stalling me. I need to just keep away from everything sweet. PERIOD. Get back "on the wagon" and feel more confident and less cravings. I hope joining this challenge will give me the added confidence.

Count me in on the challenge. October 31st was the date I had in mind for my first goal, anyway. I have cheated this week and it shows on the scales.

This way, if I am publicly vowing not to cheat, I will tend to stick with it!

Soinwi Sun, Sep-29-02 21:44

WOW Looks like we are off to a great start to a 3rd challenge!!! I am so in for this one as well!! This is the month that I add cardio cardio cardio cardio cardio. So I am hoping for a super result month.

Good Luck to all and I look forward to challenging each other along the way!!!
