bean substitutes?

I am looking for a substitute for beans in chili and other recipes that call for white, red or kidney beans. Thanks

This is the third bean question to pop up in a couple of days. Must be because it's winter and everyone is making chili! :)

Yes, Eden Black Soya Beans are lower in carbs than the beans you mentioned but not as low as the Low Carb Luxury website states. The fiber has been pre-subtracted from carbohydrates so the actual count is indeed 8 grams per serving.

Here is a link with an email from the Eden Company verifying it.

With all that said, you don't even need to use beans in certain dishes, many - chili included - taste great without it.
