Low carb blood with a vegetarian heart

After scouring the Internet for info on the rare circle known as the low carb vegetarians, this is the first substantial community I've found for the topic. Granted it's still not the most active place, but it's nice to know others are out there doing this too, even if they're not "here".

I've been an on/off low carber since the mid 00's, and when I haven't been that I've been trying to be vegetarian/vegan. I dislike the meat "industry" and wish I could be happy and healthy on a high carb vegan diet, but alas I gain weight on it. I've always seen a low-carb vegetarian diet as impossibly restrictive and something I'm destined to fail with. However, Im going to give in and try it anyways. I figure I'll do it up Pesco style, avoiding "meat" but allowing fish and free range eggs/dairy.

I've enjoyed reading the past 8 or so years archived in this forum subsection. I would love to hear from someone who's done this over a year or so and is thriving on it!

I have been a low carb pescatarian for about 6.5 years now.
This forum gets little traffic, but if you post in the general low carb forum, you will get lots of help- just say something like "I follow a pescatarian diet for ethical reasons." I found most people to be very helpful here.

Anything in particular you need help with? like meal planning or restaurants or something?
