27 years of T1D
I am SO psyched that my a1C for the 2 times before becoming preggo were both 5.6. Typically i am high 5s to mid 6s, with an occasional high 6.
Turns out the blood sugar in months leading up to conception are more important even than my pregnamcy! Who knew I could screw baby up before conceiving :help: This is lowest since I was a child and still honeymooning! If anyone sees this who is planning a pregnancy with T1D, there is ONE (yes only ONE) book just for T1's and Pregnancy. I highly recommend Pregnancy with Type 1 Diabetes. |

Huge Congratulations on those 5.6 readings, but much more important, your delightful news of a baby on the way. |
Con grats on a baby!!

Congrats, Robin. Good to see you posting. HbA1C readings are excellent news.

Thank you!!! I really can't believe it is happening after so many disappointments. It doesn't feel "real" yet :rheart: :rheart: :rheart:
