Since July 7, 2003 ...

Well, here I am, almost 2 months into this WOE, 22 pounds lighter, excercising and loving it ...

and while packing for a weekend trip I decided to bite the bullet and try on the jeans I haven't been able to wear since becoming pregnant with my first child 5 years ago.

They fit, and not only do they fit, they're a little loose in places where they weren't before!

Being almost 6' tall, I'm doubting I'll go down another size or two, and for me a 12 is slim, so if I stay there and kind of move things around over the next months I think that will be fine with me.

Glad I saved those old clothes, rather than throwing them out in disgust. They gave me a new outlook and something different to wear while we're away. :yay:

Way to go! Congrats!
Past week I gave all my before low-carb clothes and now I can wear some of my old old pants. Hmmm.
Nice, eh?

I love jeans--they never go out of style. I have about 6 pairs I would love to get back into and I WILL.

Thanks, everyone.

I think I'm doing pretty well, too, though sometimes it feels as if I'm not getting anywhere.

The initial weight loss is great! But, the longer, slower weeks after that sometimes don't give too many clues that they are happening.

Still plugging along, though, and feeling better than ever. That's the key, I think.

just keep up the good work even if the numbers aren't going down on the scale your clothes must be feeling better cause your proably losing inches i just need to remind myself of that sometime :agree:
