Active Low-Carber Forums - The Colour Purple

IT TURNED PURPLE!!!!..I know..I know..drink more water..but I honestly thought I was the " most" insulin resistant with the "worst" case of yeast overgrowth (was on 5-6 courses of antibiotics this winter for a resistant infection that I thought was going to do me in) ever to do Adkins. I take anti-depressants and am on a beta blocker plus dieuretics for high blood pressure.....I worked all last year trying to get back to lc woe only to finish gaining back the 44#'s I had lost previously. I was so sick that I could not even do my usual carb loading binge before startingthe plan...my body was at the point where I "was eating more and enjoying it less".
I thank God for this site. I have learned so much from all of you. Each day I tweak...everytime I eat, sleep, weigh or pee light tan... something I read will relate to what I am experiening and I don't freak or become overly confident. If I don't know the answer I know someone on the site will..If I am off base someone will subtley put me back on track......IT'S SOOOO GREAT TO NOT HAVE TO DO THIS ALONE!!!!
