Trying The Big Breakfast Diet

I have always been curious about the moto: eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper. This book is basicly low carb but you eat your "reward meal" in the am. I have been "tweeking" it this past week and have lost one pound. I find that its hard to eat a lot in the morning, but by forcing myself, I don't want to eat a lot later in the day. This diet reminded me of CAD, in a way. Another thing I have been trying, is not eating red meat. Everywhere you turn they tell you that red meat is inflamatory. I have had such terrible pain in shoulder and hips for a long time. I blamed it on wheat but was suspicious about the large amounts of red meat I ate. I have not had any red meat in two weeks and am now pain free. This whole low carb journey seems to be taking a turn for me. I will always stand on the low carb idea, but now it's time for me to make some "tweeks" of my own.

Hi,
I'm trying the Stress Eating Cure as well. I had success with the Heller's first book but since I've gotten older, it's not working as well so I'm switching my big meal to breakfast. I don't feel like eating either but I'm forcing myself. So far I lost 2 lbs this week

i have done just that also. i have a nice big protein breakfast and for the past two days have dropped more weight doing it that way. today i am not even hungry at 3 in the afternoon my breakfast was so filling.
seeing if this tweak is what i needed.

What is an example of what you eat for breakfast?

for me it depends on the day and what i feel like. lately its been chicken, bacon and a spicy ranch with 1 oz of cheddar cheese. some days its a bacon cheeseburger or 3 scrambled eggs and 2 strips of bacon and 1 oz of cheese.

I do IF, breakfast being my meal, I eat about 3 meals in a 4 hour period.
I normally bake up a quiche, make some guacamole and freeze some coconut bark.
Though I really like spicy chilli powder on crispy chicken thighs.
