20 wall pushups
1 minute elliptical....yes,it's pathetic. At least I got it cleaned off and did the maintenance on it so it's good to go now.

I'm feeling so out of shape.....that out of shape doesn't describe it. I feel like I might break from rising to standing and walking is difficult.

Have an ongoing bet with a friend to do 100 crunches daily...I really think it's helping.

A lot has happened since my last visit. Ktape has saved me. I got a fitbit. Working up to making the daily 10,000 steps goal a daily thing. I'm much stronger and can walk at least 3 miles at a time.

Walked 78 minutes. Went to the old airport and walked the field to Winco. It's s record since I got the fitbit. Over 10,000 steps today.

I haven't been recording my exercise very well. Did one day over 15,000 steps then paid the price. My left leg is weaker from 2 years of limited use. The right is stronger. It's a wakeup call to work on strengthening my left leg. I'm just glad I can walk.

Belly dance basic moves. ..modified. ..nothing on the floor yet.

Starting back slowly. After injuring my proximal tib-fib and then my shoulder (ie crutches not good for my shoulder) I'm starting back slowly. I have decided to take a break from fitbit challenges for a while and it feels so good not to be thinking about steps all the time. I got my hand weights out and did 10 military presses, 12 wall pushups, and 12 edge of bed crunches.

This feels like a complete flip of my life that was all about fitbit and challenges. Feels like I lost the estrogen overload(ahem, people) that was making it hard to enjoy my life.

Got my hand weights freed up again. Did 20 bicep curls and military presses. 10 triceps extensions. It's a start. No paraesthesia today thank goodness. I'm getting out of breath easy. I'm hoping that the training is helping. Seems not that long ago I could easily do 20K steps but I've had a backslide. Some due no no more Rx, weight and water gain of about 30 lbs, the heat, and tib-fiB injury. I'm climbing my way out of this hole.

It helps if you can find someone to work out with, or at least someone to tell about your workouts for encouragement.

Working out daily is long slow journey to fitness, but if you focus on doing your best at each days workout, within a few months you will look back and be amazed at how far you have come. Prioritize it, don't accept any excuses for not working out (short of a deadly illness). Do what you can safely do at first, but then look for opportunities to push yourself harder as you progress.

Good luck!

Good grief. Sigh. Found out my shortness of breath was due to hypokalemia and not laziness. Thank goodness. I'm hoping that my knees are mostly healed but I'm still having some minor pain in the right. I'm starting back to getting my steps in again. It's taken me a month to recover from the bradycardia and exhaustion. I'm working my way back.

Steps yesterday: 6503

This is a lot more than I have been getting. This was all from shopping and housework. I'm pretty proud of myself for washing the shower curtain because I had to stand on the tub to reach it. My knees were a little sore but it was muscle! Oh and my core got a workout too. So much better than when I couldn't get out of bed and my heart rate was only 40. Yay!
