When I started the Group Programme, I switched to:

Kirkland (Costco) Formula Forte (Senior)multi-vitamin capsules.

Prior to this programme I was only taking daily one 500 mcg of Chromium GTF as per CAD's book.

Joe

daily supplements

- multi-vitamin & mineral (Jamieson Super Vita-Vim)
- Cal-Mag 2:1 ... 3 x per day
- I use NoSalt ... 1/8 tsp mixed in glass of water = 320mg potassium ... 2 x per day
- 400 IU vitamin E
- fresh flax oil (which I will switch to a blend in ~ 3 or 4 months ... Udo's Choice or Omega Essentials)
- in winter, cod liver oil capsules, for vitamin D, which requires 1 hr sunshine daily for the body to make its own

Here's what we take:

Multi-vitamin
Cal/Mag x 4 day
Omega 3-6-9
Potassium (from time to time)

After reviewing my info on fitday, i've been thinking about adding some Vitamin C to the equation.

Supplements

I have no idea what to do about supplements! I was going to post a question about this so I was so happy to see this thread! I don't suppose anyone can enlighten me regarding extra supplements when you are working out on a low carb diet. I heard that if you don't you get terrible muscle cramps? Fact or Fiction? There is so much stuff for sale that I don't want to get sucked into spending a ton of $$$$$$ on vitamins when our grocery bill has already doubled:(

Kelley, here's a link to a good discussion on supplements and dosage. It should prove helpful

P.S. the globe icon at the top of the page (to the right) is a search function. It can be an invaluable tool.
