Fathead Dough?

Does anyone use Fathead as a sub for bread? DOes it stall your weight loss or no effect at all?? Thanks

ps...I don't use almond flour in mine. :help:

Hi. What do you use instead, a coconut flour version?

Personally, being that close to a healthy weight, I'd avoid it until I was considering myself in maintenance. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't lose any weight. Someone with a lot more weight to lose might get away with it and still lose.

Of course, it's still better than the real deal, and you'd be 100x better off having a fathead pizza than giving up.

Good luck and let us know how it goes if you try it.

Hi, thanks for replying! Nevr thought I'd get an answer....No, I don't use Coconut flour...I use Oat FIBER, NOT BRAN, with 1/4 cup of Flax meal...Oat FIBER(have on AMazon) has NO calories or CARBS...I think it tastes great for fathead, but maybe I'm just used to it. I put either butter or cream chees and add a sprinkle of pumpkin seeds... It's so delish...But, that's me

I make the Fathead dough with almond flour when we want a pizza-like thing. We do not use it regularly as bread. Don't see why you couldn't if it doesn't adversely affect your weight management goals.

Never occurred to me to use a fiber substance instead of flour. I'll have to try that.
