My wife challenged me, and I lost even more weight.
My wife got on this "intermittent fasting light" bandwagon. She doesn't need to lose any weight but does keto we me for health reasons.
Nothing hard core, just not eating between 8PM and 8AM the next day. She suggested I try it as she knows I'd like to lose a couple more. I was skeptical and in a stroke of divine intervention I didn't voice my disbelief and tried it anyway. I weighed 171.2 this morning. I graduated high school at 180 and that was 56 years ago. Everybody else in my family is >300 lbs. I've been doing this about a month or two now, and after the first week of not eating at 10 or 11 PM withdrawal, it isn't bad and definitely worth the price. Good for you! Always wise to listen to your better half ;)
Intermittent fasting works for me, when I work it... |
Woo-hoo!!!!!!! Good job, Bob!

Wonderful! Well done you!

Well done, Bob. IF spells longevity imho.
For what its worth, my mother is 86ish and she is at her "marriage" weight and boy, she is go go go. She often only has one meal a day, and other days partying with the girls and have a bowl of cobbler. |
I basically have one light meal a day, and a few nutritious snacks.
Breakfast is 18 raw almonds. A whey shake mid morning. Lunch. A very light snack later and the last one at about 7 or so. Lunch today was some cheese, flaxseed crackers my wife makes (flax and water), 10 black olives, and a few unsalted mixed nuts. I used to live to eat, now I eat to live. Bob |
Its funny, as in interesting, how each creates their own workable timetable and menu. Low carb has infinite possibilities.

I've expanded my OMAD into a 2-3 hour window and that's like a sweet spot for me lately.
