Can I import SAM-e?
I've got NAFLD (non-alcoholic fatty liver) that hasn't been improving, as well as depression that isn't really responding to any treatments.
SAM-e seems like a very promising supplement that would kill two birds with one stone. Problem is, I don't believe it's available in Canada, although it seems pretty easy to get in the states. If I order a few months' worth online, is there a risk of it being seized? I know many products are not legal to sell in Canada but are legal to import for personal use, but I haven't been able to find any information for this particular product. Can anybody help me out? |
I am not sure how long it has been available in canada, but I have been using it for the past month or so. Hasn't helped my deppression very noticably but I am still trying, may just have to increase my dosage. Around here in saskatchewan I have found it in many stores all over, even in grocery stores in their pharmacy departments.

Thanks for the quick response, I'm pleased to hear that :D
Would you happen to know the brand name? It would be a good starting point to find it, as I haven't really seen it in stores. |
If you can get into a Costco, they usually have a good deal on Webber Naturals enteric-coated SAM-e. Best of luck!

Would I find it on a shelf or is it the kind of thing you have to ask for?
|
I can also get SAM-e all over Montreal. My local Costco used to have it (on the shelf you don't have to ask for it) but they no longer keep it. Most health stores hold it. Look for Enteric coated and individually wrapped pills pack for best results.
It has done wonders for my mild depression and hardly ever PMS anymore :) Best of luck ! |
