Purvi's Gym Log
I guess I should start a Gym log since I've been exercising so much lately. Saturday I finished 3 full week of 20 miles per week (60 miles total). I'll start logging my progress here.

Yesterday I did 6 miles in total. Here's the breakdown:
AM 2.3 miles on the treadmill PM 2.0 miles Walk away the Pounds two Mile with weights 1.7 miles on the treadmill I didn't workout this morning. I wasn't really tired but I didn't want to get out of bed. It's probably a good thing because those lunges and squats got me good! My butt and thighs are nice and sore. I probably won't workout tonight either because I have a baby shower to go to. |
I ended up taking Tuesday AND Wednesday off. My thighs were so sore from the Monday workout. The lunges and squats got me good! So I ended up letting the muscles rest.
I had a great workout today! 2.1 miles on the treadmill (I jogged for 10 minutes straight) then did intervals 4 mile walk away the pounds dvd My average heartrate throughout all of it was 166! I feel great right now. |
I had another great workout. I have 3.9 miles left to complete my 20 miles for the week. After I complete this week, I'll have gone 80 miles in 4 weeks!
today I did: 2.0 on the treadmill - ran a whole mile, then intervals 2 mile WATP DVD average heart rate 165! |
Yesterday I completed my 20 miles.
1.9 miles on the treadmill 2.0 walk away the pounds dvd with weights I didn't workout today but I did have physical activity. We put the first coat of primer in the whole basement. I also did a lot of cleaning. |
Monday I did 2 miles on the treadmill in the AM
4 mile walk away the pounds DVD in the PM This morning I did nothing! I got up and was going to workout but after weighing myself and then seeing 152 AGAIN, I went back to bed. So unmotivated! I'll probably try the Self Bikini Ready DVD tonight. Well I did do the DVD and boy was it a good workout. I had to stop a couple times but I'm hoping I'll be able to do the whole thing in a couple weeks. It really works out your core and enjoyed working those muscles. I guess I haven't posted here for a bit. The bikini ready dvd really got me good. I was incredibly sore for a long time. I did that on Tuesday and really couldn't do anything again until Friday! Even on Friday/Saturday I was sore from it.
On Friday I did the walk and jog 2.5 mile WATP also 2.2 miles on the treadmill Today (Sunday) I did bikini dvd and I tried to walk on the treadmill afterwards. After I did the dvd I sat down for maybe 5 minutes and when I got up I felt like barfing. I still got on the treadmill, but a minute into it I started gagging so I gave up. I need to make up 1.2 pounds somewhere down the line. This is the first time I'm short of the 20 mile goal. |
I took Monday off. I was tired in the morning and got home late from work

Monday - took it off again, seems to be a pattern these days
Tuesday - 4 mile WATP DVD 2.8 on the treadmill Wednesday - bikini ready 3 yoga 1 Thursday - 3.2 on the treadmill Friday - off Saturday - 5 or so hours of painting (3 miles) Sunday - Self: Slim and Sleek Fast (3 miles) 20 total! woot |
