S.A.D. it's that time of year again
A couple of years ago I saw a article on S.A.D. at the Mayo Clinic, it doesn't seem to still be there though. But this article said that a lot of folks with SAD responded just as well to large doses of vitamin D for there SAD as the more traditional bright light therapy. Now you have to be careful with vitamin D as one person may need a lot more than another and this is one vitamin that can be toxic and you really need a blood test. Well I did need vitamin D and after
taking it for a while my SAD is a lot better these last 3 years. As an added bonus my myopia inproved also. So much so that I ended up with much weaker glasses. |
It happened to me as well. My SAD usually comes later and my vision improved.
