Neanderthin Diet

After 2+ years of low carbing, starting with Somersizing, zipping through Carbohydrate Addicts, thinking about THe SChwarbein Principle, and ending up with Atkins, I am just about at the Neanderthin Diet. Due to allergies, I am off grains and dairy, but continue to have problems with fruit. I am a fruitaholic. I eat a lot of salads and green veggies, but disagree about a caveman passing by beans if he found them. :) Nor should you overlook the nutritive value of green tree leaves, an easy prey to wallop with a stick, sharp or not. :D Nor do I drink juices, as the kind of juice found by earlier man bears no resemblance to the sugary fruit-flavoured water expressed in great quanities from today's fruit. I move back and forth between Atkins and Neanderthin on a daily basis, depending on my food choices, and see no basic contradiction between them. :)
