Welcome to my gym log! Here, I'll be posting my workouts as I sculpt myself a new curvy toned bod with a luscious poping booty :lol: :lol: :lol: Seriously, though, I'd 'settle' for good health and a fit body, but a nice round poping booty would be nice, lol! Oooops, I also forgot to mention in my intro that my husband and I have been married for 1.5 years, and we're hoping to have our first baby soon (hopefully sometime next year). So, I have an extra special reason to get my body in tip-top shape :)

Monday's Workout:
1 hr. with my in-home personal trainer, Amin -mostly yoga Today's Workout: 1 hr. with my in-home personal trainer, Amin - boxing warm-up (upper body punching while squating!) - strength training (upper body w/ weights) - pilates leg work - ab work on a mat - lunges with weights - deep wide-stance squats - flexibility through stretching - 5 min. meditation (focusing on the colour olive and internal healing) |
Today's Workout:
Nothing - rest (TOM is here and making it clear that it wants my body to rest, lol) |
I have to admit, I keep forgetting to update this log :lol:
But, I HAVE been working out hard - mostly strength training... Next week, I'll be including more cardio, but strength/flexibility training is always my priority. More details next week :wave: |
Today's Workout:
- 1 hr. upper body work (strength training with weights) I have a nerve bothering me in my back thigh and bum since Thursday, so I have to limit my exercise to upper body only. |
Today's Workout:
- Started learning Bikram yoga poses (without heat) with my personal trainer, Aman. I'm trying to prep to attend an actual class because the first time I attended a Moksha yoga class (a similar yoga style to Bikram), I was completely unprepared and VERY embarassed at my lack of flexibility, balance, and endurance! :blush: The Bikram poses are tough and I do have to modfiy some, so I'm so glad to have Aman help me modify (in addition to being a P.T. she is also a certified yoga teacher - which is why I originally picked her). I can't even imagine doing these asanas (yoga postures) in 105F degree heat, but I'm excited to get there! (x-posted to my journal) |

Today's Workout:
I worked on my upper body, did 30 minutes of cardio on the elliptical (alternating intensity every minute), and stretched. For a grand total of 1 hours and 15 minutes of exercise time. |
