Hi, Im in Lake in the Hills....
How's it been going for my fellow local low carbers??

It's been going pretty good for me, week days are better, since my husband is not supportive, the weekends are tougher. I think I am going after work today to join womans workout world on North Ave so I can go there in the mornings.

Not from Chicago here, but from west of you guys, just a hair north of Rockford. My hubby works out it that area though, in Elk Grove Village.

I am from the south suburbs 35 miles south of the city
Lockport. Nice to see other Chicago folks here...

i'm originally from the evanston/skokie area but moved to ottawa (take 80 west from joliet for about 30 miles) in april of 2005. it's beautiful here.....we're within 10 minutes of 3 state parks....but i sure miss evanston. most of my friends/family are up there so it's been a big change....in so-o-o many ways :agree:

hey, i'm near joliet, or tornado alley as we like to call it...starting in august i'll be in rockford. i'm looking forward to the move because there are a lot of places to walk.
