Well, I've been lurking around this forum since before I started low carbing last summer and thought it was about time I began posting and earning my keep :), as I've always found it a useful source of info on low carbing in the UK.

Just visited the Atkins UK website for some post-Xmas inspiration and noticed that the online shop is now open for business. The website offers the same range of products that are available from Boots, H&B, etc but at higher prices, especially when you add in the postage and packaging costs.

Whilst I lost my cravings for sugary snacky stuff a long time ago, I did purchase a couple of bars and shakes "for research purposes" (from my local branch of Boots) and they have come in handy for breakfast on-the-run. I know they're not to everyone's taste but, as has been mentioned in another thread, it is comforting to know that you can pick up a bar or a shake when you're out and about and need to satisfy an attack of the munchies :)

There's not really anything there that you can't buy in Boots at the moment to be honest.
