5 lbs away from goal
 

I started my journey February 18th 2001, I am 5 foot 10 inches tall. At that time I weighed 220 lbs. I was wearing a size 18 to 20. I am now wearing a size 8. Yes, I did slip a few times, but very few. I love this new way of eatting. I am seldom hungry. I have found many recipes here that are fabulous.
In the last 15 months I have run into many nay sayers but I believe in Atkins. I reference his book often. As for my family, I continue to cook the meals they have always liked and I am happy to eat the meat, veggies and a salad. MY DH and DD's have been very supportive. This forum has been great. Thank you all. Your stories of success has kept me going. I am 5 lbs from my goal. I have been in a plateau for the last couple of months. But I am sure it is due to being so close to my goal. Once again thank you all.

Wanted to say thank you for your congrats on my 1 year anniversary.

I see you've been at goal for awhile now. I think it's great that you're sticking around and "paying it forward" to help others.

I'm hoping to do the same... now if I can just get the hang of this maintenance thing... hehe
