I just noticed that when I enter in bacon that even when I change the quantity that the nutritional info is not figuring correctly.
As much as I'd like 3 strips of bacon to only be 130 calories.... :) |

Which specific item did you enter, and in which form? |
Pork, cured, bacon, cooked, broiled, pan-fried or roasted

the little cluster of data on the upper left side of my posts hasn't updated the last few times I've entered new weight data on my p.l.a.n. What gives?
|
When I post, the stats are not updated to reflect the current data in my weight summary chart. Since starting on this forum I have added 3 new weight data updates but none of them reflect in my stats (on the upper righthand corner of the posts). Help?
|
The weight entries in MyPLAN don't connect with the data seen with your posts. To change those, go to UserCP on the left of the green menu bar, and click on "Edit Profile." Don't forget to click "Save Changes" when you are done. ;)

Thanks rosebud:) Now to test if it worked.
|
I entered my weight and it will not update it.
|
I have just read what Rosebud said, I will try that and if it does not work I will let you know.
:) Joy, it worked, thanks. |
Could you please let me know how to upload a picture... I cropped the picture I wanted to use to wallet size on my computer and it is still telling me that it is way to big! thanks
|
This is what it tells me:
Sorry, but you do not have enough space on your account to add this image. Filesize: 1181969 Space remaining: -133393 and this is after I cropped it to smart phone picturesize. |
If you want to put a picture in one of your posts, it must be 400 x 400 pixels or smaller.
Avatar images must be the smaller of either 100 x 100 pixels, or 19.5 KB. HTH! :) ETA: If you're trying to include an image as part of your signature, be aware that the space allowed for signatures is very limited. |
I noticed a problem tonight in the following item:
http://forum.lowcarber.org/myplan.p...s&item_id=10124 I entered 2 rashers at breakfast and 2 rashers at dinner, and the calories for breakfast were 200 less than for 2 rashers at dinner time. I also felt that nearly 400 calories seemed quite high for 2 rashers of bacon, and I did an independent internet search which gave a much lower count for 2 rashers (although that was not fried). I realise that some rashers are thicker or fattier, but I thought I might mention it in case the calorie count in MY PLAN is too high per rasher. I'd just like to say thanks for the tool. I cannot tell you how much help it has been to me. I wouldn't have progressed so far in three months without it. |
You didn't accidentally click on Cooked bacon for one entry and Raw bacon for the other, did you? The counts are quite different. The counts are different between pan-fried bacon and microwaved bacon, too. Just a suggestion. :)

I'm trying to add a custom food to my P.L.A.N. After clicking "add to my custom foods" I get a message that I didn't put a title in my message and I get directed to Forum threads. What am I doing wrong or is this a bug?

Try it again, and record the information you enter, so I can reproduce the error. Wa'il |

Working now, Thanks |
I am trying to tell a newbie how to start a journal, gallery, and my plan and can't remember how I even did all that?
Thanks Erin FreeBird1 |

Click on Gallery on the toolbar, and then click on My Stuff to upload pictures. Click on the My P.L.A.N. link on the toolbar, then fill out the Settings. Click on Save Changes at the bottom of that page. HTH! |
Hi, I am using a protein shake for breakfast, can I add it to my plan?
Per 30gm scoop is:- Protein 24gms. Carbs 2.2. Fat 1.7. Kcals120. Many thanks. |

When you go to My P.L.A.N., scroll down the menu on the left of the page until you see New Custom Food. Just click on that, then fill out all the blanks. You can find additional information about how to use My P.L.A.N. on the FAQ Sticky. HTH! |
Ah, thanks Kisal.

I have just added English Cheddar cheese to my custom foods:-
Kcals 416. Protein25.4. Carbs 0.1. Fat34.9., yet the little round icon is completely Red??? Can anyone help? Why has this happened :q: |
Apparently, it's a bug in the program. I'm sure Tamarian will be along soon to deal with it. He's really talented! :)
Here is a link to a previous post about the same problem: http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthre...highlight=icons |
Thanks Kisal, I know it is silly but I don't want to use it until it's sorted out. I entered the grated cheese I use & it was fine. In a way I'm glad it has happened before. I thought perhaps it was something daft I had done ..
|
Well, the numbers you gave work out properly, so I wouldn't worry about it.
25.4 X 4 = 101.6 34.9 X 9 = 314.1 0.1 X 4 = 0.4 Add the products together and the sum should match, or at least be very close to, the Kcals shown on the label. I get a sum of 416.1, which indicates that the numbers on the label are pretty accurate. In addition, American cheddar cheese has 0.36g of carbs per ounce, so your English cheddar is right in the ballpark at less than 1g per ounce. I think you should relax and enjoy the cheese. Especially since Tamarian has already confirmed that there is a bug in the part of the program that produces those little icons. JMO, though. :) |
Thank you  - I had a chunk of it yesterday evening. :yum:

Weight Stats not Changing
Can you tell me how the weight stats change on the top, right-hand side of my posts? I record my current weight almost daily, but the stat showing on the post I wrote today is a weight from two days ago. Does this update on a schedule or should it update the day I add a new weight? Thanks!!
