Omega-3 DHA in Phospholipid Form May Bypass Faulty Brain Transport in Alzheimer's Disease [ prnewswire.com/ ]

A phospholipid form of the omega-3 fatty acid docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) found in the meat – and uniquely concentrated in the roe – of certain cold water fishes, may reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease in some people, according to a new review by Rhonda Patrick, Ph.D., published in the FASEB Journal.
