recovery/addiction resources
I've been finding it useful to think about my history of eating disorders as an addiction; delving into some of the recovery literature (and people who are in recovery) has helped me a lot.
For like-minded folks, I thought it might be useful to share some of those resources, from OA to your favorite book to whatever. Please add to the thread as you like! I've recently found a website I really like--literally thousands of pages of very good information: http://www.coping.org |
Thank you!
That site is terrific!!
Not only does it cover addictions but child issues and more! Thank you for sharing this site with us! :daizy: |
I think Potatoes Not Prozac and The Sugar Addicts REcovery Program are great books for understanding the physical addicion to carbohydrates and putting together a plan, but it does not delve into the mental or spiritual aspects of addiction.
