Six months
 

I'm so happy with my progress this last six months - over the moon :D

1. Today is six months to the day since I stopped using cigarettes and alcohol - haven't touched them. Go me!!

2. And having low carbed since about the same date, today I've lost almost exactly 20kg!!!!! (About 45lb).

3. I joined the gym six weeks ago (and I go! :lol: )

4. I came off the antidepressants a few months ago too - I think cutting out alcohol nicotine, sugars and cutting back on caffeine has helped me regulate my mood, not to mention sleeping better and exercising)

Half way to goal weight wise, but so much more than that life-wise and health-wise.
Here's to 2014!!

Wow! I'm impressed! When I quit smoking (23 years ago) I think I gained 45 pounds in the first 6 months. Wish I'd known then what we both know now.

It is a great double accomplishment. I am sure you look back on the first few day 6 months ago and wonder how you did it ! You deserve a big applause and yes it is a big accomplishment !
