Food Combining Books

Hi,
I want to start food combining. I have got the basic principles and a combining table off the internet. I want to buy a book and was wondering from personal experience which one you recommend.
Thanks

Any of the Suzzane sommers books are pretty good.

I enjoyed and learned a lot from the book 'Fit For Life' however I don't have my copy any longer and forget the author's name.

I know it's still out there as I saw it recently in a book store.
Simple principals that just make sense.

Good luck!

I would recommend Montignac's book:
Eat Yourself Slim
By Michel Montignac
Translated by Erin Goodwillie
Contributor Jean G Dumesnil, M.D., FRCP, FACC
Published by Erica House, 1999
ISBN 1893162052, 9781893162051
279 pages

You could also visit his website:

His book has been rewritten for the American market but I'm afriad I don't know the title.

I mainly got what I can off of the internet and ordered "Great taste no pain" The book was very help ful and it has a 60 day money back.

I have noticed that most of them are basicly the same with small differances..

Good luck!

Montignac's book is Low GI, which isn't Food Combining!

I would recommend Suzanne Somers' "Fast and Easy"!

A little caution about using the exact Fit For Life eating plan: I can not personally recommend strict adherence to the actual diet plan of Fit For Life. Years ago, I and two friends did the diet and all three of us got sick. One friend was so-nutrient-deprived that she ended up in the hospital. The non-food ideas in the book have some merit, though. JMO.

Funny you should say that. -I was looking round the net at Food Combining books yesterday and spotted that someone had commented that if you followed Fit For Life, to the letter, you would become nutrient deficient.

There are many books but i recommend you Montignac's book as it is the best in my opinion and my choice. It has many good food combining recipes.
