First big change

First major change that I have noticed after doing this for about a month -- I no longer binge eat to the point of nausea.

Before doing low carb, I could eat 1/2 pie followed by something salty or savory until I felt bloated and sick. Sometimes the binge felt desperate and out of control, like a bulimia without the purge. And always late at night.

I will still eat late at night at times, but veggies with ranch, meat or eggs. And not with the same rabid intensity and ill feeling.

This way of eating is so much more healthy for me.

Even if you are still binging (habitually) I think staying clear of sugar is far less harmful, plus I get bored of stuffing myself with steak, chicken, eggs, spinach - I never get bored of eating donuts until I can't eat more and pass out going to bed, only to wake up again and eat more donuts :)

If you can steer clear of low carb treats (basically in my mind anything with sweetener - yes ANY sweetener) you'll be better off as well. For me, the sweet, even tho it's not sugar, adds to the enjoyment of ease of over eating.

You are doing well and gaining insight, way to go!
