10-day update
 
In my first 10 days on this low-carb diet, I've lost nine pounds and exactly two inches off my waist. :agree: I continually have that tell-tale bad taste in your mouth, which tells me that I'm in ketosis, too. My downfall with previous diets has been too much variety, so with this one I'm keeping it simple and mainly just eating burgers with cheese, eggs sometimes, fish occasionally, and if I get cravings I munch on some pork rinds. Believe me, if you get hungry enough, it's all delicious. I've managed to avoid "trigger foods" such as Cool Whip, some fruits, nuts, etc. Like I said, variety kills me. I like to keep it plain and simple, and so far the protein I'm eating is keeping me full and *not hungry*. :)
