"Taco" Salad
 

This is a somewhat simple recipe, but is tasty and good for filling dinner...

"Taco" Salad

1lb ground beef
3 tbsp chili powder
3 tbsp red pepper
1 tbsp cumin
1/3 cup salsa
1/3 cup water
shredded lettuce
shedded cheese (taco, mexican, or cheddar)
sour cream or low carb ranch dressing

Cook ground beef in skillet until brown. In a separate cup, combine spices, salsa, and water. Stir into meat and cook on medium heat until most of the liquid in the mixture boils off.

Serve on a bed of shredded lettuce, topped with shredded cheese and sour cream or ranch dressing. Makes four servings.
