An Oldie Newbie
 
Howdy Friends -

I'm Dana and happy to be here with others on the same journey. I've pretty much "fad dieted" all my life, but I want to stop that nonsense and just focus on getting strong and eating right.

Last month I started exercising with a Jen Widerstrom program ("Start Moving & Losing"). I finished all four weeks - the most I've exercised in literally three decades. It's humbling to realize just how far I have to go, but I did it! Today I started a new four-week series called "Get Strong" with Kelsey Heenan. Go me!

Now it's time to add in healthy eating. I don't need strict keto, but the empty carbs and overeating have to go. I'm tracking at CarbManager and like that app a lot.

Dana, I guarantee you've come to a good place. Visit often. Read around. Start a journal to track your progress and welcome visitors.

Glad you are joining our low carb community :wave: Lots of good inspiration and information here. I often read some of the old posts because they can be filled with good information - even if it is not the topic being discussed today.

Tracking your carbs can by eye opening and a good way to start back.... I envy you your exercise routine....that is an area I need to incorporate in my day.
