Thanks for the advice Flowersoul, I will just do Atkins from now on I believe but I am going to try the Intermittent Fast for a few days too. I have been stalled for over a week, and it's discouraging! I decided not to weigh myself until next week also.

I took my 1st CLA today. I quit watching my weight 1 year ago and gained 30 lbs. I'm 61 years and it probable won't be as easy as it was years ago to lose weight. My waist is 32 inches now. It was 25 inches 10 years ago and 29 inches July 06. I am trying to climb back onto the health and fitness wagon.

I am in my 60s also, and indeed it is slower losing the weight, but as long as I follow my low carb WOE, I know that I am helping myself with my heart, skin, and a host of other things.

I recently had my lipid profile done, and the doctor wanted to know what I was doing to improve my numbers. Told him low carb........and, he replied, whatever it is that you're doing, keep it up. He was ready to give me a statin a few months ago, and I told him to give me some more time, and I rose to the challenge.

Now, to look as good as I feel, and I'll be one happy woman!
