TJs has opened a new little store near me and it's so much better than the other one I've been too because it has parking, lots of it...
I did a fast zip around the store and scoped out the triple cream Brie. It's a TJ brand that is from France and it's excellent, melts in your mouth and it's only $7.99 per pound. Much better than other stores like Whole Foods which sell it for around $14-15 per pound. I'm going back when I finish this piece and when have more time to look around and to try the triple cream with truffles which the checker said is really good.

Be alert...the Holiday goodies are rolling in. Avert your eyes. Though while you are in the cheese area...goat cheese rolled in cranberries looks so pretty on party cheese platters, and the baked ricottas are like cheesecake (they do have sugar and 6g carbs).

Yes, that triple cream brie is amazing!

Janet, yes I also saw the goat cheese log rolled in cranberries, it looked very interesting. At first I thought it was cherries.

jschwab, At first I couldn't believe the price I had to read it twice.

Omg.... I can't stop eating the holiday rosemary mix :yum:

Also i'm obsessed with the seasonal frozen broccoli cauliflower gratin and the frozen spaghetti squash casserole.
I tried the refrigerated cauli gratin and thought it was fine, but not as good as frozen one with broccoli and has wheat crumb topping which frozen does not.

I have tried the Orange ricotta when I wanted a little splurge. I liked it, but prefer the famous old SB recipe where you beat 1/2 c ricotta, splenda and an extract like vanilla or raspberry or orange.... My mom made something very similar way by before the SB craze, probably from a diabetes cookbook. It's extra good with some very dark chocolate chips and/or berries
I do like TJ's ricotta in a tub very much for just this recipe.

If you make it to TJ's before holidays end, grab the frozen roasted cauliflower dip. It is 3 carbs per serving and worth every one! I had it with carrots and celery and just bought 3 of them before they dissapear, which is a big investment space wise in my slightly smaller than normal freezer.

The refrigerated fondue- is seasonal so I'm afraid you missed it. But get it next year!
Oh my- it was so easy (you microwave it) and it was delicious. I had it with carrots and green beans.
I have another one i will probably have with broccoli, asperagus, and maybe flax bread or shrimp.
YUm!
I have heard the shelf stable one is terrible, but not tried it myself.

I also had the buffalo hummus yesterday. I bought it when it first came out and haven't had it since. It definitely has big kick (and I love spice). I would get it again for a fun plate with carrots and celery, and blue cheese after I have the baby.
Overall, I prefer their horseradish hummus or sometimes tomato basil (just depends on my mood).
If I get the plain garlic one, I love everything bagel seasoning!
