hi smylpurty,

Thanks for reviving this old thread; glad you like the recipes. I've found another that folks might enjoy ... the lemony taste is great on vegetables, salads, chicken and fish.

Lemony Herb Seasoning

2 Tbsp dried lemon peel
1 Tbsp dried basil
1½ tsp dried thyme
1½ tsp dried oregano
1½ tsp paprika
2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
2 tsp dried parsley flakes
1 tsp celery seed
1 tsp onion flakes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cayenne

- grind all together in blender or spice mill. Store in tightly covered container.
 I didn't have any celery seed, so I used cumin seed instead; the result was delicious. The recipe was from a newspaper clipping, Heart Smart recipes or something like that. I added the toasted sesame seeds because I like the taste ;)

Enjoy!
