How are fried foods on the carb list? Such as chicken strips, nuggets, fried just about anything. Are they good to eat if I'm trying to keep the carbs low?

I would say, depends if/what you're coating them with. As long as they are low carb ingredients, you should be okay.

As far as carbs, we all have to make the choices everyday where are carb numbers are going to be used.

Make sure you're getting lots of your carbs from vegetables/salads.

Read both Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution and Protein Power. THe guidelines for lowcarb eating are thoroughly detailed in both of them.

If you're worried about all you'll have to give up, read them first to find out how much you'll gain.
