I'm new to this board, but I had to write to get rid of my frustrations.
I've been on Atkins for 3 1/2 weeks. I actually cheated over the labor day holiday, but still lost. Now I'm very strict. Carb intake is never over 20 and usually is between 15 and 20. I excersie daily. I alternate between a free weight tape and a taebo tape.

The depressing part is no loss in a week and a half. No weight no inches nothing. I have a total loss of 6 lbs.

I'm getting very discouraged. I would be happy just to see a lb a week. What am I doing wrong.

According Atkins, druing induction you can expect to loose around 10% of the weight you have to loose, then later 5% of the excess weight in every month. A little "rest" after induction is very common, your body is readjusting.
You had 37 lbs to loose, you already lost 20%. You are AHEAD of schedule:-)

If you lost 6 Pounds thats alot slow weight loss is better for maintaining your weight.....good luck with losing.
