COVID-19 coronavirus is affecting everyone around the world, including the admins and moderators here at Active Low-Carber. We too are affected in our families, our homes, jobs and communities. It's unprecedented and we understand how distressing is the situation itself, not to mention the constant 24/7 barrage of headlines in the news and social media updates which are changing rapidly.

At this time, we wish to remind everyone that our focus here at Active Low-Carber Forum is low-carb and ketogenic diet support. To that end, we ask members to please keep discussions relevant and on-topic, especially in regards to COVID-19. Topics related to staying healthy, boosting immunity, access to healthy low-carb food/groceries while isolated are fine. Please feel free to share your experiences and concerns, tips and other helpful information ... but leave the sensational headlines, conspiracy theories, retweets and facebook hysteria out. We don't need that or want that here. While we understand folks may have concerns about off-topic issues such as job loss, we ask that you keep such personal discussion in your journals. Note that multiple threads started up on the same topic will be merged together to keep everything in one place.

Keep in mind also that posts and threads which go off into disallowed topics such as politics or population control (for example) will be removed without further warning. We encourage everyone to review our official policy on this matter, as well as our forum rules. Please note that the above applies across the entire forum, including journals, the LC War Zone and Everything Else (off-topic). Do not complain if your thread or post disappears; members who persist along this line will lose their posting privileges. There are plenty of other outlets around the web to discuss border closures, who, where and how quickly this virus is spreading, etc. We want this site to be a safe respite from such headlines, and keep it dedicated to low-carb and keto support.
