Anyone tried the Adios Carbs tortillas? I just got them in plain, jalapeno, and CHOCOLATE.

They have more carbs, but they feel more like a real tortilla. I'm going to try one tomorrow-a breakfast burrito.

PMurph, page over one or two, you will see posts about the Adios tortillas, or enjoy using our SEARCH feature (spot the globe in the upper right of your screen) with the key words Adios and tortilla ...

I prefer the garlic and herb ones over the plain wheat. They are a great way to soak up some of that good low carb gravy my wife makes.

These are really, really good. I have one every morning....use it as a wrap with smoked turkey, shredded cheese and mayo. It doesn't seem to stall me at all!!!!

These are so good! I've lived without them for a while, but seeing this thread again reminded me to order some!

Enjoy!

Hello All,
I bought a new quesadilla maker and had to try it out so I ordered the garlic and green onion LC tortillas from vitaglo.com. I have to tell you that the green onion flavored ones weren't very good at all ! They had some kind of funky flavor that hardly resembled green onions. The garlic were eatable though. But I think from now on I will just stick with the original flavor (although these are similiar to how I would perceive cardboard) Oh and by the way, if you have a quesadilla maker, you should order the large tortillas, and not the regular sized ones.
So how do you make taco shells out of them? just deep fry them? I wonder if making your own tortillas would result in a better product?

These are great! I use the small ones in green onion flavor, one every few days. It helps you feel less deprived when you can wrap all that meat and cheese in something. I am going to do a fajita party for friends and have everything be LC!

My favorite way to have them is a garlic-herb tortilla, with about 1 TBSP pizza sauce, 6-7 pepperoni's, some mozzarella cheese, and broil it for less than 5 minutes, it is so ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!!!! I have one for lunch every day now, and whenever my family has pizza!
Thank you La-tortilla!!

I love these. Almost everyday since I got em I make pizza on the garlic ones, I bought a can of tomato sauce and got an ice cube tray and put the leftover sauce in it and covered with plastic wrap. hopefully each cube will be enough for each pizza.
Last night I made tacos for the family, I heated my plain ones in the toaster oven ,just til warmed . and yummy . It was delicious. I put loads of sour cream on it. I will try frying it next time. I didnt even think about it. but it was awesome the way I made it.

Netrition was out of the green onion ones, I will try that one next. I better order more I am running low.

Thumbs up Ideas for La Tortilla Factory tortillas

My low carb co-workers and I love to eat these tortillas. They are great for lunch adding so many new ideas to the menu. Our favorites are chicken cheese steaks, tacos, chicken fajitas and chicken or tuna salad sandwiches. Some have wrapped hamburgers and hotdogs in them or cold lunchmeat with lettuce, tomato and mayo. I order these by the case right from the website. www.latortillafactory.com.

I've been using the regular flavor for some time now and they almost always leave something to be desired. I did pick up a package of the green onion tortillas and the texture is better for some reason. The onion flavor isn't overwhelming and was quite good with cream cheese and pickle slices. Haven't tried the Garlic & Herb yet.
