OK... it's been a while since I've been here... fell off the boat, getting back on. I see that you've asked for artists. My husband and I both professional designers... I do print, he does multimedia. I've done logos for Warner Lambert (Now Pfizer) Parke-Davis, Pharmaceutica, Warner Wellcome (see a pharmaceutical trend here?). I've also done tons for local and small companies. You can see the logo for my website: http://www.pcos.net right there on the top. My husband has also done a lot of logo work, many animated. He does a lot of work in Flash.

Anyway... I'll pick up a few of the slogans I've seen posted in this thread, and see what we can't come up with. I will happily submit PNG files for you.

How would you like to receive submissions? E-mail? Attached to a post?

My email is at the buttom of every forum page were it says "Contact us". I prefer entries to be sent by email, as the PNG size will most likely excede the attachment size limit.

They do caution that light colours and white will not print properly on non white products. But most of their products like T-shirts and mugs are white.

OK got it... I looked at the site briefly, and now fully understand what it is they do... they print "on demand" as opposed to printing 5 million t-shirts. Cool idea!

I'd love to hear some more slogans from people, I can visualize it, but generally can't write it.

Is there a way to get more input from folks? I'd love to hear some really snazzy things... I really liked Eat Meat, Not Wheat

Very cool, I've seen many websites/webmasters use them, and all praise for their quality and service. You might want to try it on your site?



If there are any ideas how to get more members involved in this project, I'd be delight to implement any suggestions.

My favourite slogan is "It's the carbs stupid!" I also like "Sugar-free zone" with a warning/stop sign against Carbs, like the one I made on our forum, but in a better quality

How about if you posted to some of the busier forums here for a call for LC slogans? I bet this group could come up with quite a few!

I am going to attach another tiny version of a design I did on the "It's the Carbs Stupid!" theme... I sent you the PNG for this and the last one. Would you prefer I just e-mail them, and not post thumbnails? The reason I am posting them is that I hope to get some type of feedback/critiques

We've tried that. There's an announcement on every subforum, and we had a couple of days worth of "flashing" a bright read call for help with this project on the main forum page.

Maybe a new "sticky" thread calling for slogans would help, with some of the samples of the slogans we currently have. I might write one tonight when I get back from work, or if someone beats to it, I won't mind

I think that the Slogans Sticky might be a good idea... I've even been looking at some of the signatures that people have:
