Default Thanksgiving Challenge

Anyone want to post their goal for the next month? We could do a challenge and see if we can hit our goals....

I personally, am hoping to lose 12 lbs. come turkey day (WI before meal!!) Anyone else in?

We've got a month before the holiday.

I say 7 pounds for me. I'm really slowing in this loss process so I don't want to expect too much - but 7 sure would be nice.

Although I won't weigh in every Thursday~ former scale addict here, and I just don't care to wake up that "beast"... On Oct. 20th I weighed 295#, and I would like to be down at "least" 10 more pounds by November 20th, if not then, by Thanksgiving~! My hubby's birthday is November 23rd, and he don't know it yet, but he is gonna have a low carb cake

Just checkin' in - Did my Thursday a.m. WI. I'm still at 146 --- which I'm very happy with, because I cheated on Tuesday (bad!) and it's TOM...so the good news is I DIDN'T GAIN!!!! And I've been very disiciplined since with food and exercise.

can I join in? I used to post on here some but went on a hiates (sp) of bad choices. I need to get back into it. I want to lose 10 lbs by Thanksgiving.

Katrina

I'd love to hear about what works for you. I've just been LC'ing since sometime in Sept. I've been mainly following Atkin's...but having to do things a little different, in order to have energy for workouts. So I'm always interested in learning more, and kind of refining this WOE.

when I first started, I had a problem with lack of energy - it seemed to level out for me though. I am taking vitimins which I think help some. As far as eating, I just eat as few carbs as I can. I also allow myself one day a week to eat whatever I want. I even seem to lose weight on those days also. I read somewhere were it tricks your motabolism and actually helps out to have that cheat day. I know a lot don't believe in that - and I am not trying to sway any in going in that direction.

We will all get there!! We can do it!!!!

Hi, can I join in? My attempt last month to qiut smoking led to a 5 pound gain!!! I'd like to lose those 5 pounds by Thanksgiving. My weight right now is 164.

Default T-day Challenge Weigh-in

Hey!

Well, I'm down 6 lbs --- half way there. Did my measurements this a.m. and lost a 1/2 inch on my hips and bust. Nothin' to brag about, but I'll take it.

Deb_O --- you are moving in the right direction girl! You got 4 more, and I got 6 more to go. I know we can do it! So keep up the effort!
