Am I the only one who thought this was way too tart? Maybe it was just my tastebuds.

Sounds very good. I probably won't use lemon, b/c I was very disappointed with the lemon jello taste back when I was on induction. But I love black cherry or raspberry!

What is SF vanilla? I know of regular vanilla extract but what does the SF stand for?

I just tried this and must say WOW! I was so surprised at how really tastey this is...for a little additional lemon flavor I put the zest of one lemon on the top before refrigeration. This is day 7 of my induction and it really saved the day. Thanks so much for this recipe.

For some who felt it was a bit tart, my version might be a bit sweeter. I can't use aspartame, so I make my own sugar free jello.

1 package unsweetened lemonade koolaid (You probably could use Go Lightly too, but that may change how much sweetner you need)
1 package gelatin
4-8 packets (to taste) splenda/vanilla splenda or stevia

Two 8oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature.
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla (I used vanilla splenda as sweetner, so didn't add vanilla)

Add koolaid, gelatin, splenda/stevia to 1 C boiling water, dissolve, add cream cheese, mix well, then add sour cream and vanilla (unless you used vanilla splenda). Spray glass pie pan with Pam, or use butter, pour into pan. Sprinkle top with a little nutmeg. Chill in refrigerator till set...YUMMY!!!
Satisfies a sweet tooth big time.
