Default here's my plan for October

I'm going back to induction for 2 weeks to see if I can break my stall ... so no pecans or delite bars for 2 weeks. And keeping carbs at 20.

The next two weeks will be keeping carbs under 40.

And, I was so glad to hear that BIRTHDAYS don't count as cheats (thanks Princesspp)

Hey~ do birthdays count if they are someone else's? The person I am talking about is our precious daughter KaeLyn who will be 1 year old on October 17th... gosh this last year has gone by fast! I was talking to hubby about it last night and I honestly think I would puke if I ate cake, so am planning on making up some of Kat's cheesecake~ let the rest eat the cake~ I will take cheesecake any day over cake~ Can you tell it is a favorite?!

First stop for me is to correct my numbers, ok, I did well at the start of the no cheat till Autumn, then stumbled fell, got back up and then tried three more times. So what does this mean, the girls and guys here are such a wonderful, supportive group, that to belong to the no cheat till Halloween challenge is an honor, we are all human, with a powerful motive to try your best, friendship.
So Count me in, please.

Well I think I might as well be a part of this also!!

Halloween sounds like it would be just right for my first true goal!!

What do I do next? Never done this before. Is there a specific place to post your weight, or do you just keep track in your journal???

NOTHING IS AS GOOD AS THINK LOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool! I plan to do induction (finishing my first two weeks on Wednesday) through to the end of October so this works fine for me then start gradually adding.

COUNT ME IN ALSO. I have gone thru 2 challenges and I fell down on the second one but I will not give up this way of eating. I love you guys and we will get through this together. Just to let all of you know I finised my 10k this past week-end with a time of 1:08:37. I am really happy with that. I plan now on doing a half marathon in April of 2003. Well I will talk to everyone later.

Default Still cheat free!

This afternoon was tough ... after my Pilates class, I had some romaine lettuce with diced ham and bacon ... which was great ... but at 3:00, I was famished ... and nothing to eat at the office, since I have sworn off pecans and bars (which were sitting there staring me in the face and saying "Eat me!!" ). I'm glad to say that I resisted, and had a of herbal tea instead

And as soon as I got home, I had a large slice of ham, which will hold me until I make dinner.

Okay, guys, just to let you know, I am the Queen of all Cheats, and I can't believe that I am doing this, but I am going to join the No Cheat until Halloween Challenge. As of 4:25 p.m., Monday afternoon, I am a member!! Until now, I have been too chicken to join any No Cheat challenge, but HERE........GOES.......! (Good thing I finally bought some L-Glutamine today!!)

I nailed a 1.5 pound loss on the Autumn challenge, and a 2-pound loss on the first challenge, so I can't go wrong joining up with this challenge, now can I?

Wow We have alot fo familiar facees and some new ones too!! Thats great!!! Even if you falter thru out the month you can always get back up and know that we will help brush the crumbs off with you. Thats the great part of these challenges!!! We are all winners if we stick together!!

Talking Welcome to October!!!

Good morning all!

I posted to this board yesterday, but I think my official start will be today, the first of a new month. Let's say I used yesterday to get all of the kinks out of my system.

During the day, I am very good at sticking to the WOL, but sometimes I slack off at night. That will be my numero uno goal for October. Cut out the snacking at night. Here it is in writing...

NO FOOD AFTER 7PM!!

WAY TO GO LISA!!!!

That was a great time on your race. I am a much slower runner and did my 8k in 52 mins. I ran between 91/2~10 min mile The beginning of the run is slow because 16,000 people do this run. I have a 5k run 10/20 which goal is under 29 mins. And then another 5k on 11/5 and I will up the time proablly to around 27 mins. I would love to do a 1/2 marathon and then if I can do well with that I would also love to do the Chicago marathon next October.

Well I hope everyone has a great low carb day
