The other thing we have at work is... well, a certain candy that goes on top of a new donut. I ate some. Getting mad at myself here. I even brought a coconut flour tea biscuit with me, and I totally forgot about it in my purse. Today, I'm working for the 6th day in a row and I get to do it on 4 hours sleep. I need to clean up my act. If I get the exhaustion munchies, I need to keep it LC.

Day 6
no misses
Turned computer on at 5PM but turned it off by 6PM for the rest of the evening. I'm counting it.

1. No computer use between the hours of 9AM and 6PM except for my Buddhist teachings and tracking food on Cronometer.

2. No computer use in the morning until after I meditate.

3. No computer use after 10PM

4. At least 1 hour of study per day (added on day 5)

Days 6 of 90

Goal of this challenge: Simply to tally how well I do sticking to my diet plan over the next 90 days.

Good days: 5
So-so eating: 0
Off the mark: 1
Late snacks: 2

Yesterday: 39 net carbs, 123 total carbs, 2400 calories and 15K steps. I was at the upper end of OP yesterday, but considering the tough workout the day before I will still call it a good day. I did eat last at 9:30 PM, so I had to tally a late snack.

Wondering what number 90-Day Challenge this is for you guys. This is my first. It seems to be helping me a lot. I feel confident I will make the 90 days and I am already starting to think about my next challenge. Will probably keep it about the same, but will tweak it a little.

This 90 day challenge idea was started HERE in the TDC Club section a few years ago. I believe that I completed 4 or 5 of them back then and I found them extremely helpful with my accountability. It helped me stay on track and improve my eating habits. I considered those challenges as a significant contributing factor to me reaching my goal weight. Thud started this thread, expanding the focus to more than just diet. Self improvement is a good thing. That is what we are all trying to do. Focusing on one or two things at a time helps bring about lasting change. At least it has for me.

Rock on, Kauaimom. You are doing great.

Another so-so day, food-wise. Too loosey-goosey for me to call "on-plan".

Default Day 1

I have failed over and over with these 90 days challenges.
So this time I am going to use Ken's latest approach. Ken I hope you don't mind me copying you.

I have been failing miserably at my eating plan since The beginning of December and I have gained 15 pounds since then.

I do best with weight loss by eating no more than 20 carbs and not eating after 5pm.

I am going to tally my days here as a way to be accountable and to try to get myself back on my way to reaching my goal.

Day 1/90

On plan:
Off plan:
Eating after 5pm:

I NEED to get control of myself before I end up back at 190!

Days 7 of 90

Goal of this challenge: Simply to tally how well I do sticking to my diet plan over the next 90 days.

Good days: 5
So-so eating: 1
Off the mark: 1
Late snacks: 3

Yesterday: 31 net carbs, 111 total carbs, too many calories from fat and protein, but a good workout on the elliptical. I did eat late again, too. I called this a so-so eating day, saved from an "off the mark" tally by a 1200+ calorie workout. Today I'll try to eat according to the new plan. But I'm doing a 10K in 6 days. I will likely mix in some IFs and VLC/high calorie days before the race. I want to make sure my body is running on fat when I'm running on the pavement.

I did not know about the TDC 90 day challenge - I had joined a 2 hr a week exercise challenge on there (they let me play with them!) but that thread stopped being active. I still aim for at least 2 hours a week now. I saw Thud's thread and have done one prior to this. I needed 20 min a day 5 days a week to get myself going on cleaning and packing out of a house and added a sub-goal of 20 min of exercise 5 days a week. It helped me a lot. This one is also helping me stay on track with these projects. I don't want to veer off this path.

goal: 15 min of creative writing, research or extracting writing from journal notes 5 days a week for my project/s.

Yesterday got away from me. Busy all day, on a roll, reminded myself about 10 times to write! But never got to it.
today: 15 min researching, making notes, and going over project 1 from the beginning.

day 16

Yesterday was a success in terms of my new habit challenge. I am truly very pleased with this forum and this particular 90 day workshop. I would not be having this two weeks of clear headedness otherwise.

I was listening to Dr.Jason Fung last night, and
today I am going to do a 16- 8 fast. (I really want to see results on the scale.)

THUD Nice to see you back .

Keeping it real..Nancy

hope everyone has a great day.
