Going down again. Wow what a difference from the easy weight loss 10 years ago. This is becoming quite a battle! It requires constant vigilance!
I am in week 7 and have lost an average of 1.4 lbs per week. That's pretty slow going compared to before, but maybe it's OK for an old post menopausal woman.
Now that I seem to be in ketosis most days, I am going to try an intermittent fasting regimen again: fasting from dinner to dinner every other day and on non fasting days keeping my meals within and 8 to 10 hour window.
Also, I have found a formula to calculate insulin load of food intake in grams.
It is as follows:
Insulin Load (IL)= protein grams x 0.54 + total carbs - total fiber
I am fasting today.
