I always lose first in my upper abdomen, like right under my boobs. I WISH it would come off first in my face/neck then lower abdomen but as long as it is coming off SOMEWHERE I'm happy! I carry all of my weight in my torso - legs and arms are actually pretty thin. Maybe if everything was more distributed....

Nope, wouldn't help. I'm avocado shaped which is how I've heard it described when you're somewhere between apple and pear shaped. I carry a lot in the belly, but also in my backside and thighs.
However, I also seem to be losing in my upper abdomen right under the boobs first. Meh, as you said, at least it's coming off somewhere!

Butt and thighs first, always. They get to about a size 4 before anything else starts to come off. It's very annoying.

Seriously, I'd love it if mine got a little smaller.

speaking of boobs..and smaller sizes.
The other day I was trying to imagine myself with the flatter tummy. right now I carry the majority of my fat around my tummy, waist and my upper arms.

...I had this horrible vision...as my *cough* boobs have been heading southward for some years now, (I was never what you would consider 'perky' haha) if I lose the fat in my tummy...what on earth will happen to my boobs. I fear I may end up tripping on them as my tummy is probably what is keeping them in their current upright position...
I may have to start stocking up on duct tape now!!

Rib cage for me. Legs and butt next, then face, then boobs, then gut. That darn gut.

I honestly cannot lose anymore boobage. I'm barely a C cup as it is. Used to be double D but lost a cup size with each pregnancy/breast fed baby.

I'm hourglass shaped, so when I gain or lose, it's like blowing up a balloon (or letting the air out.) However, now that I'm old, the belly below the waist area seems last to go.

If I'm not mistaken (and I could be, its been a couple years since I watched this lecture) Gary Taubes Berkley lecture states that the majority of ppl lose/gain this way.
The woman who diets, loses from her face chest and arms first, but if/when she regains weight, it goes on her thighs and hips and stomach first, over time leads to the ___ (suddenly I can't remember how its labelled but we end up with too much on your bottom half! Brain Fart!)

Do they have stretch in them or are they only cotton? I notice stretch jeans will just shrink and shrink with you. I've lost maybe 30 pounds in the last few months but my stretch jeans still fit the same. Woven pants and shorts got really, really big, though.

Trust me it's not that. I can actually get them on and zipped up, but the amount of muffin top that spills over is a dead give away that they're too small!

Plus, sorry for TMI, but the dreaded camel toe.

Definitely face first, then thighs. Weird how we all lose inches so differently!
