When I feel so bad physically after eating carbs, I often wonder why I keep doing it. I guess that's the thing I need to work on. I haven't been on the scale yet, so I don't know what the damage is.

Today's a new day. Hopefully, I can post later this evening that I am again MOMD!

I'm reading Wheat Belly [not through yet] and he says that modern wheat triggers appetite. So, even if you ate something low carb, if it had wheat, which a lot of foods do, it can trigger hunger. I've been better since I've stopped eating wheat/gluten and since I've cut dairy, the scale has actually inched down a little.

{Holding hand out} Let's get back on this wagon!!

MOMD #2 & #3! I called a cheat for yesterday and didn't use it. Go me!

This weekend will be ... interesting and possibly challenging. I'm attending a Square Dance Fly-in. Basically people come from all over the country to square dance here. It starts with dinner on Friday (pot luck by our club members), then dancing from 7-10p. Lunch and dinner on Saturday are also included. Brunch on Sunday and lunch on Monday. I'm a bit concerned about the food choices. I'm debating about calling a cheat. On one hand, I feel up to the challenge. On the other, I don't wanna risk it. Hmmmm ....

Is there any way to find out what the menu is?

Lately, when we've had things at work (like birthday where others bring a cake and ice cream) I just don't eat it. Meal things, I make sure and bring something I can eat.

The biggest problem may be if you get there and it's a mixed food, like spaghetti and all you're left with is their token salad...

MOMD Day #11 - walked yesterday more than I have in a long time. It felt nice to walk in the sunshine. Felt like spring might finally be on its way!

MOMD day 19
I am snowed in, Wegmans closed down all the warehouses except for inbound so I didn't have to go in. Gil will have to work because he delivers medications to Hospices and Nursing Facilities, so he will have a long day out in the storm.

2b: I'll find out on Friday what the meals are for the rest of the weekend. I'll plan ahead and take LCHF foods for me. As it is, I'm taking egg salad to the potluck on Friday.

CWatt - the way this mid-western winter has been, I wouldn't be surprised that Ontario has spring before St Louis.
