Great!!!! =) There are some really great people on this board who are very informative!! They said that a stall while on induction is normal...happens because the fat cells are filling up with water trying to keep their shape...but then eventually, you get a "whoosh" when they realease. I have read anywhere from 4-6 pounds at a time!!! So be patient and stay the course

After a stall with my first week I shed anouther 2 pounds this morning..so I was happy...
I have even convinced my co-worker to try low carb with me...

Keep up the good work!

Hi deborag!!

I'm hoping to get a whoosh like that a week...wouldn't that be wonderful!!! :-). But I know it will eventually slow and that's ok.

Hope everyone has a great Saturday!!

How is everyone doing?

Having an off day...emotionally that is, also gained 3 lbs back, still on plan but I guess "time of the month" is coming up as well and wants to let me hold some water :-)

I am going to book tickets to my home country tomorrow and I am having a hard time with it, I know I am going to stay for a significant time to see if my mom will get any better, she is currently in a long term care facility and I want her to at least come home and be in a reasonable shape.

I hope your mom's health improves. How do your kids feel about the temporary move? I can't imagine how your feeling now. I really hope all turns out for the best.

hey guys .. was nice to read about all of you ...

i ve been on and off lc for a few years now and find it works well with determination and support lol

i did wanna say that it s best not to eat any tomatoes or carrots cause they have a lot of natural sugar in them wich makes me crave other things after... i play it safe and stay away from it as much as possible.. specially cause it s so hard the 2nd..3rd or 4th time around lol

I m Ally btw nice to meet you all

I agree with Sweetyx! I love to read about you guys! I am currently doing LC. I have in the past and was successful. It's the only way I lose weight because I have PCOS. Keep up the good work!

Praying for you tulips...I know how hard it can be when your mom is ill.
My mom is battling lung cancer. She has done chemo/radiation and as of right now- is cancer free. Her Dr. has said that she has they type that it's like playing "whack-a-mole" they will get one spot and 6mos-year later another spot will appear. So, we take one month at a time
Hope your travels are safe tulips!!
