"Super Size Me" ? does watching 30 seconds count? "Fat Head" is better in my opinion. I watched all of Fat Head but after I read the critical reviews of "super size" it just seemed so silly I couldn't see a reason to watch. But I did give it 30 seconds. it started too slow.

I will eat at McD's again. I look forward to a sausage egg biscuit tomorrow morning.

Supersize me is a vegan propaganda piece.
The author won't release his diet, won't provide any supporting data and so many things don't add up.

It's not worth watching

You were wrong. I've watched it before and I still eat there twice a week.

Then that is your decision to put frankin foods in your body. Pay Monsanto's paycheck....disgusting.

When I watched Supersize me, I already ate low carb, and I've never liked the re-heated, rubbery texture of the burgers (I DID love the sugary sauces, once). So I was just like, meh.

Do I think McD's is evil? Nah. Coca-Cola company? Probably not. CAFOs? Getting warmer, maybe. I immensely enjoyed Fat Head, though. I did have a sneaking suspicion that something in Supersize me was off, at the time, but wasn't sure quite what.

Bottom line, I'll never eat at McD's again because I can get fresher-tasting burgers elsewhere. Everyone should make up their own minds.

Really? McDonald's hamburgers aren't bad if you're just eating the meat. Sure, all the other stuff is processed food, but no worse than what you can get at the grocery store if you're not careful about cheese and what not.

Quality of meat in McD is poor.. Lots of shits(msg, salt and so on) In BK is much better, but still so far from home made burgers.

Probably it's not worth getting worked up about what strangers eat

Yea, I saw that before I posted. Pretty much the same as what you would get at the grocery store for any of those ingredients.

About the only thing on that list I eat is the beef, so that's why I limited my response to that.

It's not ideal, but I wouldn't consider it evil either. We just have different standards. I'm better than I was, but I'm not perfect.

As others have said, their beef is probably not that different from the beef the vast marjority of Americans buy in supermarkets, and eat in sit-down restaurants.

Do I eat at McDonald's? Not very often. At home I try to get antibiotic-free, humanely raised, grass-fed beef. But I know I have almost no control if I eat out in public. And I don't think McDonald's is any worse than any other public venue. Eating out can be an adventure. But I get so sick of eating in all the time.

I've put a lot worse in my mouth over the years, an occasion meal from those places isn't going to kill me. I ate at Hardees today.

Holy cow wackjob, those are the same hamburger ingredients you would buy from the grocery store or find in any other restaurant. Why don't you go rant about Publix or Kroger too?
