Yes it's all about the balance. Every single diet I have been on has lead to diet fatigue, I would lose some, feel great, then go crazy because there was so much I couldn't have, and gain most of it back after summer. Every. Single. Year.

With this plan I can enjoy everything I want, just not necessarily on the same day. Nor do I feel the need for doing that anymore, that's the bonus!

The up side is that I was able to maintain for the past 6 months using just a general maintenance JUDDD rotation without really counting calories. Sweet freedom!

Looking forward however to losing those last pesky pounds and feeling the "high" of losing weight, if you know what I mean...

This gives me great hope that I can get this weight off with JUDDD and keep it off.

I have felt really deprived at times when doing low carb, not so much the lack of wheat or starches, but for my sweet treats. For whatever reason, low carb does not work well for me with the AF sweeteners, so treats and drinks with AF sweeteners really cause issues for me. I have such the sweet tooth too.

With JUDDD, I have the balance and sweet freedom that Janelle talks about, well at least every other day.

Oh, I love oatmeal, I had a bowl with a banana smashed in it yesterday for breakfast. Think that is what sustained me til 6:30 last night.

Coffee with coconut creamer and a turkey sammie with light bread and some veggies for me today so far 241 calories. Think I am going to have some of that 60 calorie soup for dinner and call it good. I'm so tired and don't really care about eating. Now that's a first.

Went over by a couple hundred cals today (UD). No junk either. Still, this reminds me I have to make wiser choices when I am starving, and distracted by that hunger at work. Higher protein usually works best for me, to keep me full longer, and I need to be more mindful of that in the future to have more consistent successful days.

Good morning Barb.

From what I have read, JUDDD is very forgiving as long as you get right back with your DD. I have read some people having 4000 calories and then getting right back on the next day with DD and not gaining for the week.

I agree, planing your foods is key, this is true no matter what plan you are following.

Today is an UD for me. I have no clue what I want to eat for breakfast today. I am not in the mood for oatmeal, to lazy to make a breakfast sandwich, so maybe a run through McDonalds for a 300 calorie egg McMuffin is in line. I know lunch will be either Subway or ???. It will be out today, that much I know.

~ Janelle and Stacy, what are your UD plans?

Have a great day all.

I posted this in my journal today:

So I have been a JUDDDer for 2 weeks now and today I weighed in....I have lost 5 pounds in two weeks! I know it's not a lot, but I don't have that much to lose, so this is good. I prefer slow and steady. My experiment was to see if I could lose at all on this plan (it kind of sounded too good to be true), and the results show that this WOE is a keeper for me I even had a weekend where I had an UD on Friday and then ate moderately on both Sat & Sun; with a DD to start the week on Monday...I am impressed. This is so easy!

JUDDD Results so far...
3/14---182.5 pounds
3/29----177 pounds

Found this on another site. Be careful that the calorie counts are accurate with your favorite app as I have found a couple things that are off a little on this list. Sat,,,dd was tough as i was cooking food for Easter dinner and getting some things ready,,,this included making desserts

then it was date night and we went to a cajun restaurant to hear a band Ray likes and to eat....I had about 5 bites of a salad that was yucky and a think blackened chicken breast,,,ohhhhhh so many things on the menu looked great for an UD

As we were leaving the area where the restaurant is we went to a coffee house and i had a frozen sugar free turtle latte...YUMM was it good...it was 130 cals,,,i drank about half then gave Ray the rest as he liked it better than the warm drink he got

I am soooo ready for UD soon...

Happy Easter JUDDDettes.....<3

Happy Easter!

Yesterday DD wound up being 333 calories, fasted until 5:30, wasn't too bad as I just stayed busy and drank lots of fluids.

Weight this morning 184.5, so only down .5 after DD yesterday.

UD for me today. Not counting, just going to be mindful of what I put in my mouth. Even got myself a single serving of Cadbury Eggs that I will enjoy today.

Easter Service at 10:45 and then lunch with Tim's fiance's parents, friends and family. I am making a jello dessert. It is SF orange jello, low fat cottage cheese, lite cool whip, crushed pineapple in it's own juice, and mandarin oranges that are in light syrup, (I will rinse those first). I will have this when they are having carrot cake after lunch.

Hope you all have a wonderful day today with all your family and friends as we celebrate this beautiful day.
