LOVE IT!!!!! One hour of non-stop...... Love it, like you. Love it.

Arlene, I'm so glad. There is nothing as joyful as dancing! Hip hop is a good workout too. I put on high energy music whenever I need to get something done, and listen to dance-y pop at work when I need a lift!

In order to make my 2 hrs a week exercise challenge I need to exercise for an hour today. Needed to post this today - then I go unplugged til Wed. Will update everything then.
**editing Apr 17....the exercise didn't happen. And I don't know how to insert a post so I am adding Sun Apr 7's walk pix here from the yard at house 1:
A big robin in the back garden...
[IMG][/IMG]
Vinca in bloom...
[IMG][/IMG]
Witch Hazel...
[IMG][/IMG]
Cascading little white flowers...
[IMG][/IMG]
Love the tiny little fairy flowers in the walkway...and a stray mint...
[IMG][/IMG]
And the heavenly white wisteria I put by my bedside...

Kat
When you dance do you just...dance? or do you have prescribed movement? DH just got one of those big flat screen TVs and...hmmm...wondering if there are any good dance/exercise dvd's. We don't have good internet at our house so utube is out.
Any ideas?

Hi Vicki - Yes, I just dance. Like I'm at a nightclub or concert or something. All free style, nobody sees me. It's fun to try to do routines from videos but that takes a lot of work for me to stop it every two seconds to see what they're doing. There are lots of exercise DVDs at the library - you could check them out to see if you like it enough to buy it. I have belly dance for exercise, aerobics, jazzercize, yoga...I'll try anything. It's just fun to cut loose. If you can find a dancey radio station? Or do you have all those music channels on your TV? I don't know if you have satellite, or cable but there is usually a good station for dance included - like Sirius or something.

Default This has been a crazy week!

I haven't done what I am counting as exercise, so today I need to do an hour and tomorrow too, to make my 2 hours a week challenge goal.
**update...looking at pics on my phone I realized I did take a 30 min walk here at house 1 last Sunday...will post them later.
**update - editing Apr 17...this is for a walk I took Thurs Apr 11 at house 2. I think it was only 20 min. Just trying to insert these in the right time frame...
Snowball bush!
[IMG][/IMG]
Dutch Iris...pretty...I was told this was the first time they bloomed since planted a few years ago...
[IMG][/IMG]
California poppies, aka, Field or Corn Poppies - they grow all over like weeds here...
[IMG][/IMG]
Thistles down the path out in the field...
[IMG][/IMG]
And my favorite flower...beautiful roses...
[IMG][/IMG]
I had some pics not turn out...two were deer I frightened while I was trudging thru the front yard bushes trying to photograph some flowering branches....I had been out looking at the beauty - saw those, went and got my cell (and decided to go ahead and walk) - not two minutes passed when I went back and two young bucks leaped out of that area and left. I went out back to try to catch them - I did but the pics were too far away/blurry.

Well, didn't make my goal this week. I was very busy and moving, cleaning up, etc but I don't count it as constant activity like exercise. Oh well. I'm home this week so back to normal for me. I have two walk's worth of pix to post soon. ** inserted them under Apr 6 and 12.

20 min walk with dogs around the property today - such a glorious day I went out midday - although I am needing to be more careful about wearing a hat to keep the sun off my face.
This was the photo of deer this AM but they look far away on the farm across the street...
[IMG][/IMG]
Purple flower by the roadside...the purple flowers photograph blue..
[IMG][/IMG]
beautiful day...
[IMG][/IMG]
more of the walk...
[IMG][/IMG]
And a busy bee on the lavendar...
[IMG][/IMG]
And I made my exercise goal this week.

Hello! I've been enjoying your pictures! Love the wildflowers and I love how you know how to find beauty even in a little ditch or field. I'm not a sun person either - completely understand - l love to live where we have Fall and a beautiful Spring with the most beautiful blooming trees. Unfortunately, we also have very hot humid summers...Keep going!
