Good for you for MOVING! I love the mining town, and I love dancing. I really would love to do a zumba class or something like that. I will have to see what I can find on Youtube. I love moving to music and always have it or a book on while walking.

Gosh, your what ever you have has held on for a while. Hope it leaves you soon!

I really like walking down the main street. It's a good walk. I have a lot of fun dancing - and nobody can see me so I can get away with busting a move LOL.

Thank you - it's been since the Academy Awards that I started feeling bad...That was Feb 24. Today I sort of felt better...throat weird still.
I had a co-worker once that did Zumba - she really liked it. You can probably borrow tapes/DVDs from the library too.

I ate too much before exercise - just hungry I guess. But I danced anyway - 40 min. (and got a hitch in my side...) Just can't stop with the Backstreet Boys You tube video
I actually needed the theraputic side of exercise today. Just needed to shake the stress off from work especially.

Volare

At my main clients house today - so I walked around all the paths and walkways taking pics - everything in bloom - the air smells so good! The sun was going down, pretty bright pink/orange, it was cloudy so cooler - I also did the driveway grade and office stairs 4 times. So it was 30 min. And tonight- hot tub here I come! Jets for tired muscles!
I'll post pics later - my phone doesn't work well here so I'll have to send them tomorrow AM while I'm waiting for the door to open at work. Ok- didn't download the pics til now...! (Wed)
It's all about flowers! Forsythia...

Show offs....

And a study in blossoms - apple....

Cherry....

Peach....

And I loved the way these pretty maids all in a row look like they are peeping over each others shoulders...

I found several exercise DVDs here at my clients house - so I put on Prevention Fitness Systems Express Workout with Jennifer Galardi - I did it for 30 min, then danced on my own to Pandora for another 10. The DVD kicked my butt! I haven't tried to do anything like this yet, so I did my best to keep up. I'm not terribly coordinated anyway so while they're going right, I'm going left and missing steps.. at least I kept moving. I did the warm-up, the hip-hop and latin routines.

It's the 1st day of Spring! It was lightly raining at lunch but I went for a walk anyway. I wore my sweater home because my jacket got all wet... I walked for 15 min and will be dancing shortly for at least 15. ** just finished 15 min dancing.
A few pics didn't turn out so I am including a pic from Sat's walk.
Petal strewn walkway...

Rain on a rose...

This white rose has the lightest blush pink on the outer petals....

And at the bottom of that rose bush was this gorgeous hidden varigated orange rosebud!

A handsome fir in the rain.

Did 30 min dancing. The thing I don't like about Pandora is you only get to "stop" maybe 6 songs if they're playing stuff you don't want (even though it's your station) - they keep plugging in songs you might like - so that slows it down a bit...Tonight is one of those nights. Then I have to wait it out til the next song...or do some aerobics to a slower song.

30 min of dancing - total time was 40+ but actual exercise was 30. Tonight there were issues with my wireless connection - Pandora kept stopping - and then shooting to the next song - I did the best I could which involved some basic exercises while I waited inbetween. My cat has decided its good fun to come over by mom while she is dancing - he rolls around, bats at my feet and plays with his toys around me. It's good for both of us! This isn't my cat but this is what he was doing....

Lol about your cat! Half the exercise is trying not to step on him!

Yes - that's it! Maneuvering around him and trying not to get poked! (his nails need clipped. An ordeal. I have to wait til he's been napping and too tired to fuss too much.)
