Thanks, but I'm more confused now. they and you seem to be using calories and carbs interchangeably. The Wiki page says that they are used by diabetics and low carbers, but also says that they still cause an increase in blood sugar.
Does this mean that they still knocks you out of ketosis?
And what are the actual net carbs in xylitol?
I am wondering if my slow progress is due to eating too much xylitol and other sugar alcohol items, of if I'm just old and slow. lol
